Bringing Vaughn Home

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office gives a priority message from Sheriff Mark Gerrells: “To the Citizens of Rabun County, Vaughn Callenback, a 77-year-old father and grandfather, has been missing since July 5, 2024. Despite tireless search efforts, we still need your help to bring him home. This is more than a search, it’s a family holding onto hope and a community uniting in action and prayer. I’m asking each of you to join us in “Bringing Vaughn Home: Prayers in Action.” If you have seen or heard anything, no matter how small, that could help, I urge you to come forward. Sometimes the smallest detail can make the biggest difference. If you’ve been hesitant to speak up, please know your information could be the missing piece we need. It’s never too late to do what’s right. Trust your instincts. Now, I’m asking for one more thing: Let’s spread this message far and wide. Our goal is to reach 100 shares. Every share expands the chance that someone with the right information will see this and come forward. If you have any information, please contact the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office at 706-782-3612. Let’s show that Rabun County is a community of hope, prayer, and action. Together, we can bring peace and closure to Vaughn’s family. Thank you for your compassion, your prayers, and your support.”
