Braves beat Phillies 7-2
Josh Donaldson and Ronald Acuna Jr. hit homers and the National League East-leading Atlanta Braves beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 on Monday night, reports ESPN. The Braves have now hit 229 homers, seven away from setting a franchise record for a season as they hit 235 in 2003. Atlanta won its 90th game, increased its lead over Washington to 9 1/2 games, and reduced its magic number to 10 with 17 games remaining on the season. Atlants plays in Philadelphia again tonight with first pitch slated for 7:05pm.
