BP and Clipper Petroleum Donate to Local Schools

Halftime Donations

BP and Clipper Petroleum announced their continued commitment to supporting Rabun County Schools for the third straight year via the Fueling Communities grant program.  During halftime of Friday’s football game between Rabun County High School and Riverside Military Academy, BP and Clipper Petroleum presented a total $17,500 to Rabun County Area Schools.  $10,000 was donated to Rabun County High School; $5,000 to Rabun County Middle School; and $2,500 to Rabun County Elementary School.  The use of the funds will support a wide spectrum of programs and activities at each school, including student leadership programs, extracurricular clubs, academic teams, athletic teams, and technology upgrades to enhance learning.  BP and Clipper have donated over $57,000 in the last 3 years to Rabun County schools.
