Billy Ray Nix

Hunter Funeral Home announces the passing of Billy Ray Nix.  He was born on September 21, 1937, and died on March 14, 2021.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, from noon to 1pm at Battle Branch Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm with burial afterward at the Methodist Cemetery in Scaly Mountain, North Carolina.  Per COVID-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing will be required at the service.
