Basketball Registration underway at Rabun County Rec

The Rabun County Recreation Department is now holding youth basketball registration, says Athletic Director Adam Dixon.  “Basketball registration is now open, so we’re hopeful for everything to be back to normal.  We are always looking for coaches.  Once that registration starts then we start looking for volunteers to coach the kids that have signed up.  Practices usually start in November and games usually start in December and run through mid-February or so for the regular season.”  To register your son or daughter, visit http://rabuncountyrec.website.siplay.com. A birth certificate is needed to register.  This is for ages 5-12 and children must be 5 by September 1, 2020, in order to play.  The cost is $60 for ages 5-6, and $85 for ages 7-12.
