30 New Cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County in Past Two Weeks

There have been 30 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Rabun County in the past two weeks.  According to the latest figures from the Georgia Department of Public Health, there are now 340 positive cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County with nine deaths related to the respiratory virus.  In other neighboring counties, Habersham County reports 1,639 cases and 67 deaths, White County lists 833 cases and 19 fatalities, and Towns County has had 331 cases and nine deaths.  Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 315,281 cases, of those, 28,197 have been hospitalized and 6,961 have died from complications of the virus.
