Wildcats’ Selected to All-Region team

The regular season ended last week for Rabun County baseball, and a handful of players were recognized for their talents, by making the all-region team.

Austin Jones kicks off the list by earning first team honors on the mound, and second team honors in the outfield, Trey Wilcox was also named to the second team at shortstop, as well as Chase Horton at third base.

Seniors Jack Johnson and Tyler Harris were named honorable mention, and Eli Gipson was awarded player of the year for 8-AA.

The Wildcats hit the road to open the first round at Bremen. First pitch is scheduled for 3PM on Friday.
