Wildcat Athletics: Harris is Heading to Cullowhee

Even though signing day was a couple of months ago, another Rabun County Wildcat is joining Charlie Woerner by continuing their career at the next level.

Senior Tyler Harris will be taking his talents to Cullowhee next season, as he will be joining the Western Carolina Catamounts football program as a walk-on.

Rabun County Head Coach, and former Catamount, Lee Shaw is proud of Harris for getting an opportunity to continue his career. “Tyler was instrumental in our success during his 4 years as a Wildcat,” says Shaw, “We will miss his passion for the game and his leadership on this team. I have no doubt that “Bone Crusher” will continue to make Rabun County proud.”

Harris was a vital part of the Wildcat defense last season, recording 77 tackles, 6 of those being for a loss, and an interception. He also hauled in 7 catches for 44 yards on offense.
