Thursday Ashley Brianna Wayne Update

According to Sheriff Frank Andrews, there is no update on leads in the search for missing Rabun County teen, Ashley Brianna Wayne. Sheriff Andrews was able to provide a statement, however.

He states: “Currently, as it is, we are still working on our leads, trying to locate Ms Wayne. Like I stated before, we do have other agencies assisting us with this, and they are working very hard. They are working nonstop to try to bring this about, to where we can end this. There’s always hope. We are always striving to make sure that we do everything correct, and make sure that everything is put together. But, as it is right now, the case is currently as it was of yesterday. We are still looking, and we are still trying to eliminate some of the leads that we have had.”

Yesterday, the male subject that Wayne was believed to be with, Atlanta resident Justin Dixon, was ruled out as a person of interest.

If you have any leads, or know of the whereabouts of Ashley Brianna Wayne, contact the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office at 706-782-3612, your local law enforcement agency, or 911.
