Thirteen Students Involved in Wreck

An accident involving a Rabun County School Bus and a Chevy Lumina occurred on Cross Street in Mountain City around 4:00pm yesterday. GSP Trooper Brady Galloway was on the scene…

“We had a bus coming down the hill, and they met in a very blind spot of the curve right there, they were on both of their sides of the road, they couldn’t get no more further over.”

Galloway added the he felt the wreck was unavoidable and that no charges would be filed. 13 students were on the bus at the time, none were injured and all were safely transported home by another bus.
