Runoff Election Being Held Tomorrow

The runoff election between Debbie Chisholm and Virginia Littrell Stewart will be held tomorrow for Clayton City Council Post Three.

We spoke with Rabun County Board of Electors Supervisor Tammy Whitmire, and she says that early voting numbers have been very respectable. With a total of 153 voters filling out their ballot before the Thanksgiving holiday. She also says that 57 absentee ballots were mailed out, and approximately 20 or so ballots have not been returned.
The Clayton City Council election will continue until tomorrow at the Rabun County Board of Elections on Jo Dotson Circle in Clayton until 7PM. For more information, contact the board of electors at 706-782-1878.
