Royston Police Searching for Missing Man

Royston Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who went missing earlier this week.

Royston Police Chief Donnie Boleman tells WLHR News 60-year old Jesse McGee Garrett Jr. went missing from his home on Phillips St. in Royston on Monday.

Family members say Garrett was last seen leaving his home early Monday morning and he has not been seen or heard from since.

At the time, Garrett Jr. was wearing jeans and a plaid shirt.

Garrett Jr. recently had abdominal surgery in April and is in need of medication for that and other health issues.

His family says when he left Monday, he did not take any of his medications and he does not have a cell phone.

Jesse McGee Garrett Jr is described as a white male, about 5’ 11” and thin – about 115 lbs, and has lost most of his hair.

Anyone who has seen Mr Garrett is asked to contact the Royston Police at 706-245-6196 or your local 911.

You do not have to give your name.
