Rabun Gap Resident Re-Appointed to State Board

Earlier this week, Governor Nathan Deal appointed a new district attorney to the Mountain Judicial Circuit, Rabun County resident George R. Christian.

Also, this week, Governor Deal made 6 appointments, including Johnny Webb to the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority.

The Rabun Gap resident is a former president of the Georgia Association of Agricultural Fairs (GAAF) and currently serves as the association’s secretary and treasurer. He was named “Fairman of the Year” by GAAF in 2006. He was also the deputy director of the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry. Webb became a certified fair executive in 1995 and was a member of the Speakers Bureau for the International Association of Fairs and Expositions for several years.
