Georgia Power Announces Office Closings, Clayton Included

Georgia Power has announced that several of their offices will be closing in October, including the office in Clayton.

According to an article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia Power says that due to many customers using the online bill-pay method, which now counts for more than half of all transactions, that 100 customer service offices will be closing by mid-October.

For those who enjoy the simplicity of paying bills at a physical location, Georgia Power says that they plan to add about 2,600 authorized payment locations by the end of 2016. These locations include grocery stores, banks, drug stores, and other locations.

More information on this will be available by next week.
