The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced a project for the city of Clayton.

Beginning on July 9th, contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing US Highway 76 West, at the intersection of Bynum and Holden Street, just west of City Hall, to North Church Street one block from Downtown Clayton.

The good news, is that this project will only last for two days. The north side lane will be re-paved on July 9th, and the south side lane will be re-paved on July 10th. The hours of construction will be between 6AM and 3PM on both days.
