Election Day Today

It’s Tuesday, which is an important day for the residents of Rabun County, and every Georgian.

Many registered voters, if they did not participate in early voting, will head to the polls today to vote for many different offices. Here in North Georgia; House of Representatives, Senate, and Congress will be voted on, as well as Board of Education between Molly Lima and Cherie Faircloth… Sheriff between Frank Andrews and Chad Nichols, and a couple of commission races.

The polling place will be the Rabun County Civic Center from 7am until 7pm. Board of Elections Supervisor Tammy Whitmire also says that you can turn in your absentee ballot today, if you received one.
