Ashley Brianna Wayne Friday Update

Ashley Brianna Wayne has been found. No other details have been released at this time.

 

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office received good news regarding the case of missing Rabun County teenager, Ashley Brianna Wayne. The following is an update from the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, that was made official at approximately 11:30AM:

“Update to Missing for Ashley Brianna Wayne 15 year old white Juvenile. On Wednesday February 3, 2016 at 11:00 am Ashley Brianna Wayne was seen in the area of Bankhead Hwy and Cleveland Ave in the Atlanta area. Ashley is believed to still be wearing a black and grey hoody with “Lakers” in white on front with floral print sleeves, grey sweatpants with “BOSS” on the legs, and red, black, and white high top sneakers.”

Sheriff Frank Andrews made this statement concerning the press release:

“Brianna was spotted down in the Atlanta area at around 11 o’clock Wednesday. She was at Bankhead Highway and Cleveland Avenue in Atlanta. We received that information, we are currently following up on some more leads. We really appreciate the Atlanta Police Department, the GBI, and the FBI, (for) the hard work that they have put into this. We are currently staying on track with this, and we are following up on every lead that we possibly can.”

When asked if any other agencies have gotten involved since the search began…

“The Atlanta Police Department, Cobb Police Department, and Cobb County Sheriff’s. That’s a pretty large place, so we really appreciate every bit of assistance that we have received.”

Sheriff Andrews also stated that each agency will work into the weekend, and into next week if need be. They will do whatever it takes to bring Brianna home.
